need to do a speech n memorise it and say it in front of the class.......yes it is graded...EVERYTHNG IN MY SCHL IS GRADED........y i ask? well The word GRADED and Pupil's PROGRESS REPORT is meant to drive us crazy n nuts! have to read the speech tomoro AH!!! this is how it goes:
Good afternoon Mrs Sushilla and fellow friends
Let me start by asking you: Do you have a special little wish of your own? Well, I am proud to say that I do. What do you think my wish is? From my tall physique and tanned body, you might think that my wish is to represent Singapore or to be the fastest runner here in Singapore. But no, my wish is neither grand nor big. All I wish for is to be able to experience the wondrous feeling of winter!
For the past twelve years and 88 days of my life, I have been to a few countries but never once have i felt the miniscule snowflakes tickling my skin. My friends(yes you) make me feel worse by describing so vividly about their amazing time playing with the snow during winter in other countries. Sometimes when i watch travel programmes on the television i would feel a tinge of jealousy and would immediately change the channel.
So far. the closest thing I've experienced was at Singapore's one and only Snow City. Don't be mistaken. I am indeed priviledged to be a Singaporean but don't you think that it would be nice for change of environment like somewhere wintry(dunno if this word exists bt my teach did nt mark me wrong)and overflowing with a thick layer of snow. Ahh! Snow........it just makes everything seem so pure, so romantic, so magical, like Heaven!
Just imagine all the things we can do in the winter wonderland. We can ski, have a snowball war, bury ourselves with snow and many other adrenalin pumping activities! It just makes us feel like little innocent kids again. We do not need to worry about exams, the terrors of the world and even our physical looks.
Snow is the perfect remedy to make each one of us smile and scream like crazy again.Right now I have this strong urge to hold a pack of snow in my hands and throw it at somebody's face, maybe it's yours!Thank you so much for listening about my special little wish. Who knows? perhaps you and I will fulfil our wihes very soon..................
